Caldwell Travel/BCD Travel proudly presents to you, our valued customer, the 2009 Industry Forecast.  Please note the highlights of the in-depth research and information for next years’ budgeting purposes:

• Worldwide Airfares – Net airfares will increase on average by 6 – 8 percent over 2008.  The total cost of air travel will also increase, due to continued unbundling of services and the resulting additional fees.
• Hotel Rates – Rates are forecast to rise by 4 – 8 percent.  Please note in cities where demand is slowing, rates will rise less.
• Rental Car Rates – Rental car rates are expected to increase by 3 – 4 percent, as rental car companies lift rates and add service fees.
